A structural pergola post built to stay straight. Made from ‘A’ quality redwood, kiln-dried to 12–14% moisture content and laminated PAR (Planed All Round) — multiple pieces of high-grade timber glued and pressed under controlled conditions, then planed smooth on all sides. The lamination process significantly improves strength, straightness and resistance to warping compared to single-piece solid timber.
Pressure-treated to use class UC4 for ground contact, giving long-term resistance to decay, insects and wet conditions. Responsibly sourced with 70% PEFC certification. Available with or without an end notch to suit your build.
